Welcome to our Polaroid iTT28 review that we decided to publish after seeing a number of people reaching out about the camera with a goal of potentially purchasing it. We felt that we had to publish an article to help prevent any of our readers from making this mistake and essentially wasting their money.
Although the iTT28 would be a pretty solid camera if it was half of its current price, we feel that the camera offers absolutely nothing to justify its price tag and there are much better options available. For example, the Akaso Brave 4 is cheaper, performs much better, has a better build quality, and also has action camera functionality.
In addition to this, the Akaso Brave 4 has an excellent reputation within the community too and you can click here to read some independent reviews of the camera. You can click here to read some reviews of the Polaroid iTT28 from third-party photographers who have picked it up and clearly see the difference in reputation.

User Interface And Control System
The image above shows the user interface for the Polaroid iTT28 and although basic and dated, it does get the job done and allows you to customize the performance of the camera to meet the requirements of your session. Although the basic interface may play to your advantage if this is your first camera or if you are not very technical, it can also be a negative as it drastically limits the customization.

Performance And Functionality
Our main issue with the Polaroid iTT28 is the level of performance that it offers compared to its price tag. In this day and age, there are so many cameras available on the market that are not only cheaper but also outright beat the Polaroid iTT28 when it comes to performance. That said, here are some of the key specs that the iTT28 lists:-
- 20MP image sensor
- HD 1080p video
- 20x optical zoom lens
- Digital image stabilization
- 2.8″ rear LCD monitor
Although a 20MP image sensor and 1080p HD video are common features on cameras these days, the different sensors and video codecs can make all the difference in the actual image quality that you get. To date, we are yet to see anyone who owns a Polaroid iTT28 comment on it having a decent HD image quality for the photographs or video footage captured using it.
The 20x optical zoom lens does offer a decent zoom range for the price tag of the camera and actually performs well in all fairness to it. Although the camera does have a few problems with image distortion at the higher zoom ranges, this is totally acceptable for its price tag in our opinion and the optical zoom capabilities of the iTT28 is probably the only strong point it has going for it.
The quality of the digital image stabilization is going to be subjective to you and what you are planning on using the camera for. For example, if you are picking it up to take basic photographs or video when relatively stationary or stable it will perform fine. That said, if you are planning to use it for anything with rapid movement then it can end up struggling.
Although the 2.8″ LCD monitor on the camera gets the job done, we feel that it does have some issues with accurately representing the colors you are capturing. Again though, this is going to be subjective to what you are using the iTT28 for and if you are just using it as a general use camera when you are bored this may not be an issue to you.

Build Quality And Design
In our opinion, the build quality of the Polaroid iTT28 is roughly in the middle of the pack at this price range. It does not stick out for being either overly negative or overly positive and we feel the camera will be able to take a fair few knocks without breaking too. The camera is also pretty lightweight for its size too but its size is a little large when compared to what some competing brands have released recently.

Our Verdict
That brings our review of the Polaroid iTT28 to an end and it is safe to say that we would NOT recommend this camera to our readers. We feel that something like the Akaso Brave 4 would be a much better choice due to its lower price tag, better performance, ease of use, and very robust build quality.
