User Interface And Control System
The photograph above shows just how small and bright the touch screen on the Campark x20 is. What it can’t show you is just how responsive the touch screen actually is allowing you to quickly and easily work your way through the navigation menu on the x20 even if your fingers are wet or cold. Although it can struggle a little bit if your fingers are wet, it does a solid job of keeping up with your finger movements.
The actual LCD screen is very bright to allow you to easily use it in low light conditions without issue and it doesn’t burn through much of your battery life either. The screen also allows you to rewatch your video footage or flick through your photographs during your sport of choice so you can see how well it is capturing your adventures.
The actual navigation menu on the action cam is very easy to navigate allowing you to easily work around the various settings without wasting your time. This lets you quickly and easily tweak anything that you need to and then get right back to your favorite sport.
Performance And Functionality
Although the Campark x20 can be still be classed as an entry level action camera due to its price tag, it packs so many features as well as boasts performance that allows it to easily compete with cameras at higher price points in the market. Rather than go over all of the features and waste your time, we just want to quickly go over our bullet point list below:-
- Video Quality Resolution Of Up To 4k
- Photograph Image Quality Of Up To 20MP Via Its Sony Image Sensor
- Waterproof Down To Almost One Hundred Feed In Its Waterproof Case
- Built-in Electronic Image Stabilization
- Full 2.4G Wireless Functionality
- Fully Functional Smartphone App For iPhone And Android
- Various Modes Including Timelapse, Motion Detection, Car Mode, Underwater Mode, And Loop Mode
- Improved Battery Life
In addition to this, the included wrist strap shown in the photograph below allows you to remotely activate the action camera if you have it mounted on a helmet mount or are otherwise unable to reach it. The wrist strap is extremley easy to use and setup and can be done with little to no technical knowledge.
As you can see, the Campark x20 packs a ton of features that you are able to use to your advantage to capture your adventures in the best possible quality. You are able to tweak the performance of the camera to meet pretty much any situation that you may find yourself in.
Being primarily designed as a high quality action sports camera, the build quality of the Campark x20 has been designed to be as robust as possible from the very start. This ensures that the camera body is able to easily take any punishment coming its way during use without breaking or losing any of its performance potentials.
It has been specifically made from robust yet lightweight materials to make allow you to mount the camera to your kit without really knowing you have it on or having to worry about it taking damage. If possible, you can further increase the robustness of the camera by keeping it in the waterproof casing even if you are not using the camera underwater.
We really don’t think that Campark could have done anything better regarding the build quality of the x20 that would not have resulted in an increase in its price tag. It does not have that cheap feeling to it like some of the compeating action cameras at this price point in the market and its professional finish makes it look the part too.
And that brings us to the end of our Campark x20 review. As you can probably tell, when you factor in the price tag of the action cam and then look at its performance and functionality it becomes the obvious choice of the action cameras at this price tag. Both its image quality and video quality are excellent and will allow you to produce some excellent content for YouTube and Instagram.
The video below offers an additional third-party, independent review for the Campark x20 to offer our readers an independent opinion of the product.
