The included windjammer helps to keep your audio quality as clean as possible when recording outdoors in windy conditions and it is surprisingly effective considering how simple the contraption is.
The Rode VideoMic GO Lightweight On-Camera Mic is a plug and play microphone so all you have to do is plug its jack into the jack socket on your Canon 700D and you are ready to record your audio track. This can be both a positive and a negative depending on what you need. If you just need a high-quality, crisp audio track then this can be perfect but if you like to customize the settings on your microphone then this may be a problem.

The Zoom H1n Handy Recorder
This can be a benefit if you are planning to record interviews or something where you may get a better audio quality by having your mic placed far from your Canon 700D and this is where the Zoom H1n comes in. It is a little harder to use than the Rode microphones offered above and we would not recommend this if you are not comfortable using technology. That said, this is a good mic for Canon 700d cameras that also has managed to earn itself an excellent reputation.

It offers a ton of functionality that you are able to use to your advantage if you are willing to put the time and effort in to learn all of the customizable functions allowing you to capture an excellent audio track.
The battery life offered by the Zoom is excellent considering its price allowing you to comfortably record constantly for hours without interruption if required.
All in all, the Zoom is an excellent recorder but can take time to learn all of its little settings and you also have to take the time to learn to merge your audio tracks in post-production. We would imagine the majority of our readers would be better of with either of the Rode microphones for their Canon 700D. That said, if you customizing your recording device and tweaking technology then the Zoom could be an option for you to look into further.
