The Sony SELP18105G E PZ 18-105mm F4 G OSS
Being a great zoom lens with some decent telephoto capabilities allows you to use the Sony 18-105mm in a number of sports photograph situations due to its great focal length. No matter the sport, no matter the situation, this lens has you covered. If you are able to get close up to the action then the mid to lower zoom ranges are perfect whereas the higher end zoom capabilities come into play if you are in the stands of on the sideline away from where you need to be.
The build quality of the lens is also excellent considering its price point in the market and the build quality of some of the other lenses with similar price tags. The lens is very well put together resulting in a very robust lens that will mount directly to the Sony E-mount on your a6000’s camera body. The manual zoom and manual focus rings on the lens are also perfect for the constant changing pace of sports photography and help you quickly adapt to any situation without issue.
Although the vast majority of sporting venues have amazing lighting, the low light performance of the Sony 18-105mm is pretty decent on the off chance you need to take advantage of it. We would also like to point out that the image quality of the lens is very consistent throughout its whole focal length offering crisp, clean, sharp images no matter the zoom level.
If you are looking to pick up a decent little E-mount sports lens for your Sony a6000 with a fair price that offers decent performance then we would highly recommend that you check out the Sony 18-105mm. If will help meet your needs in a number of sports photography situations and make a great addition to your camera accessories.

The Sony 18-200mm F3.5-6.3
Again, it is another telephoto zoom lens with a maximum zoom capability of 200mm this time rather than just 105mm. This allows you to be sat even further from the action while still capturing some excellent photographs of the sport you are capturing without issue. That said, the range of the focal length of the lens is perfect for situations where you are also sat up close to the action to allowing you to use it in a number of situations.
As you would expect from a lens with this price tag that is coming from Sony, the build quality really is excellent. Everything is smooth, easy to locate, and easy to use allowing you to save time in those critical moments of sports photography where everything can be over in seconds. Being able to quickly adjust the focus on your lens also helps you in situations where the range between you and your subject can quickly change repeatedly over and over again.
