Although it has been on our list for a while, we have finally gotten around to publishing our thoughts on the best gimbal for Fujifilm XT3 cameras. In all honesty though, rather than just featuring one gimbal stabilizer for this article, we couldn’t narrow our choice down past two as they are both great little gimbals so we decided to declare them both joint best.
Either of the gimbal systems that we will be featuring will serve you and your XT3 well and provide you with some excellent image stabilization that allows you to capture some beautifully smooth video footage with great image quality. Throughout the article, we will also be sharing various clips of test footage to show the performance of each of the gimbals once they have a Fuji XT3 mounted on them.

The Zhiyun Crane 2
As the Zhiyun Crane 2 can be on the higher end of the budget for some of our readers, we would also like to quickly point out that older versions of the Zhiyun Crane (Click here to check for product prices and availability) can offer a similar level of performance with only slightly less functionality while still serving your Fujifilm XT3 well. If you are on a tighter budget but looking to pick up a gimbal for your Fujifilm XT3 then the older crane linked above could be your best option. Anyway, back onto focusing on the Zhiyun Crane 2 and what it has to offer.
The video embedded below shows footage recorded by a Fujifilm XT3 that has been mounted on a Zhiyun Crane 2 gimbal system. As you can see, it offers some very smooth footage and you can see exactly what the operator is putting it through for the test.
When it comes to battery life, you should be able to get around the advertised twelve hours of power when using a Fujifilm XT3 as it is such a lightweight camera system. Just remember that the heavier the weight of your total camera rig becomes, the more energy the gimbal will consume to balance and reduce your overall battery life. Again though, the Fujifilm XT3 is light and all the popular lenses that we can think of that XT3 will leave plenty of payload free and not have much effect on the battery life of the gimbal.
If you are doing paid client work and are looking for a great little gimbal for your Fujifilm XT3 to up your videography capabilities then the Zhiyun Crane 2 is definitely the gimbal that you should be looking into. It offers great battery life, smooth video, clean image quality, and excellent functionality, especially for its price. Adding it to your camera accessories will be able to massively up your videography capability resulting in a lot of happy clients.

The DJI Ronin-S
This is due to the majority of camera rigs that are based around the Fujifilm XT3 coming in well under the max payload capabilities of the 7lbs offered by the Zhiyun Crane 2 covered above making the 8lbs payload offered by the DJI Ronin-S useless for your camera while still increasing the price of the gimbal. That said, if you also own any other cameras that are on the heavier end then this could definitely push the DJI Ronin-S out ahead as you could use both your cameras on it when required.
We have some test footage recorded using a Fujifilm XT3 while mounted on a DJI Ronin-S below to give you an idea of the image quality and image stabilization that the DJI Ronin-S is able to provide.
